Glasgow Coffee Festival returns this October to celebrate and support the vibrant speciality coffee scene

The first weekend in May is always kept clear in the Indy Coffee calendar for Glasgow Coffee Festival, so we were gutted when the weekend of talks, competitions and speciality slurping was postponed this year due to the pandemic.

However, the team behind the festival (headed by Dear Green founder Lisa Lawson) couldn’t let a year pass without celebrating Glasgow’s vibrant coffee scene and the local independents which make it unique, so have put their heads together to create a pandemic-friendly version of the festivities.

From October 16-25, Lisa and the gang are taking Glasgow Coffee Festival to the streets to encourage people to support local independent coffee businesses. Fifty businesses across the city will be taking part, offering exclusive discounts to ticket holders over the ten days – deals include free coffee with food, two-for-one coffees and 20 per cent off your bill. Tickets cost just ÂŁ5 and also include access to exclusive online content and live tastings.
