I bought the Indy Coffee Guide England: South for a coffee-obsessed friend for their birthday and they loved it. They’ve now purchased the full collection so wherever they go in the country they can find a great independent place for a brew. I also know that whenever I go to their place I’m guaranteed a tasty coffee as they now know all the best roasteries!

Must-read books for coffee lovers. We have the full collection so no matter where we visit in the UK we know where to find speciality coffee and delicious cafe food. It makes a great gift and is an excellent addition to your coffee table.

Lovely books that are full of excellent recommendations for coffee
Each book is beautifully laid out, with great photography and commentary on each coffee shop providing insight into some wonderful places to grab a cup of coffee. Throughout the book there are also sections shining the spotlight on local roasters that supply many of the shops in their respective regions.

Tuesday afternoon highlights
1. Post-flight late lunching @ante_coffee including creative dishes and seasonal brews: radicchio salad, french omelette, rose cortado and golden turmeric milk.
2. Syrupy batch brew @roomrumourscoffee - couldn’t get enough of the anaerobic natural Ethiopian batch brew roasted by @dakcoffeeroasters in Amsterdam.
3. First-rate blends from @thomsonscoffee and @ottimocoffee - plus moreish honey cake - @cappuccinoedinburgh.
Logging off now to grab some spicy margs and tacos. Looking forward to a full day of coffee-shop hopping tomorrow!
